I think we all say pretty much the same things when we finally cross the threshold of the new year. And even though I think resolutions aren’t just for the new year – I don’t see anything wrong with making a list of things you’d like to accomplish. So in 2013 here’s what I’d like more and less of

More
– Follow-through
– Writing
– Putting things back where they belong
– Cooking
– Museums
– Books
– Creating
– Photography
– Being okay with saying no
– Volunteering
– Exercising
– Being present

Less
– Twitter
– Gossip (personal & reading about celebrities)
– Wasting time
– Spending
– Worrying about things that are out of my control

I’ve been posting these posts that are a review of my fashion but I keep forgetting that tomorrow is actually New Year’s Eve and 2012 is on its way out. Having Christmas and New Year’s Eve be in the beginning of the week is so odd and I think it’s maybe throwing everyone off, or maybe it’s just me. I like the end of the year – even though you can start over at any time, there’s something amazing about the calendar flipping over and really getting a chance to start anew.

2012 has dealt me some pretty shitty hands but I’m trying to think about the bright moments, the solidifying of relationships and just continuing to focus on all the good things this life has to offer, which no matter what happens – is plenty.

So, here are some things I liked this year. See you in 2013
