Book Review: One Perfect Day
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
The institution of marriage is kind of fascinating if you think about it. And the wedding, even more so. I think the post baby boomer generations have taken weddings to a whole other level of grandiosity and this book explores that and a whole lot more.
It takes a look at the wedding industry and the various and sundry ways that people approach weddings and marriage. There's quite a lot of information, sometimes too much and in parts – you get bogged down in details but much of it is engaging and fascinating.
