I spent New Year's Eve with my friends eating and bowling. I am the world's worst bowler. I alternate between strikes and not hitting anything for like 4 turns. THE. WORST.  I did win a lottery ticket as a door prize and in the dim light and the fuzz of my contacts thought that for about 45 seconds I'd won $1,000. But I didn't. Womp womp.  Next year I'd really love to spend NYE in Times Square while I'm still dumb enough to do so.

I'm off from work for the next week and I plan to do a whole lot of nothing. Reading magazines that are languishing on my bookshelf, reading books (follow me on good reads or readernaut) and other miscellaneous laziness.

This morning I had the compulsion to watch Ally Mcbeal, which I never watched when it was on television. Regrettably, leaving my house did not seem like something I felt like doing and so – I didn't. Maybe tomorrow.

I didn't make any tangible resolutions save for trying to be a better version of myself every more than the last. Me + resolutions = failure on all levels. So, I'm not going to bother. How are resolutions different than goals? Is it only because they come at the turn of the new year? Why do we not make resolutions on the first Wednesday of every month? Just food for thought.

I hope you all had a safe and happy new year/holiday season. I'm looking forward to 2010 and I hope it's a good year for everyone.
