In Reverance Of Beans
I am cooking the most delicious smelling pot of beans right now. They are from Rancho Gordo and while they were moderately expensive (about $5 for a lb), the ones I?ve cooked in the past have been so good, so delicious – I would never balk at the price again. The ones I am cooking are Red Nightfall which are currently not on the site, I didn?t know beans had seasons – but hey, you learn something new every day, right? Right.
I maybe love beans, yeah I definitely do because the first link does not even include my favorite of all beans – the chickpea. I mean, if you stop and think about it – the bean is so perfect. It can become so many things and take on so many flavors. It is maybe the perfect food. They don?t call it the magical fruit for nothing.
