Life Lessons

The one thing that this (massively stupid) recession has taught me (and hopefully other people as well) is how to do without. Yesterday on twitter and facebook i asked people how much they spent on money per month in groceries. The numbers varied wildly but i was surprised to find that comparatively, I wasn't doing as bad as I'd previously thought.

Certainly the economy has made me re-evaluate things to a degree. I can't say that I've been perfect, or really – anywhere close to perfect, but I'm definitely taking stock and trying to re-evaluate. Being frugal does not mean life can't be enjoyable or that we need to deprive ourselves of things we love. We just have to find joy in other places. Are you doing things to save money?
